The homeowner’s desire was to add a space that allowed them to gather with family and friends while enjoying several different activities. After chatting with the homeowner, and getting an idea of what the space would be used for.  We were given an open canvas to design a space that incorporated all of their ideas.  At nearly 2000 square feet, there was a lot of space to be creative with the layout.

When remodeling a lower level we feel it is very important to create a space that is an extension of upper levels of the home.  This means adapting a design to work with structural and mechanical obstructions common to a lower level.  In this project all of the obstructions have been incorporated with-in the unique features that make this project one-of-a-kind. Steel columns and beams have developed into arched openings and art niches.  Plumbing down drains and duct work areas have developed into wine displays and crown molding detail.  These subtle, yet effective, details only add to the overall space.

The award winning bar serves as the focal point and promises hours of fun and enjoyment. Surrounding the bar is the media center, billiard table and craft room which will provide the homeowner with enough diversification that entertaining will never be a problem. Finally, the large bathroom is designed to provide the home owner with a changing room, and enough space to relax after a dip in the hot tub. What more could you ask for?
